What we collect through bonnici.co.nz, why we collect it, and how you can see or change it.

Who we are
This website is run by Bonnici Limited (NZBN 9429051690632), a digital agency based in Auckland, New Zealand. Our privacy officer is George Bonnici-Carter. You can contact him at george@bonnici.co.nz or 021 988 206.
What we collect
We only collect what you choose to give us, plus basic information about how the site is used.
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number (optional), organisation (optional) and your message.
- Newsletter: your email address, and the date you signed up.
- Emails and calls: anything you send us directly.
- Site usage: anonymous information such as the pages you visit, the device and browser you use, and roughly where you are (city or region). We collect this with Google Analytics.
We don't knowingly collect information from children, and we don't ask for sensitive information. Please don't include it in your messages.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your enquiry and talk with you about a project.
- To send our newsletter, if you have signed up for it.
- To understand how the site is used, so we can improve it.
- To meet our legal obligations.
We won't use your details for anything else without asking you first, and we never sell them.
Our newsletter
We only send our newsletter to people who have signed up and confirmed their email address. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. We send the newsletter using Brevo.
Cookies
The site uses a small number of cookies to measure visits through our analytics tool. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but we won't be able to count your visit.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with the services that help us run the site and reply to you:

We only use providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to the Privacy Act. We may also share information if the law requires it.
How we keep it safe
The site uses a secure (HTTPS) connection. Access to enquiries and newsletter lists is limited to the people at Bonnici who need it, and accounts are protected with two-factor authentication.
How long we keep it
We only keep your personal information for as long as we need it for the reasons above, then delete it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email george@bonnici.co.nz and we will reply as soon as we can, within the time the Privacy Act allows. There's no charge.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
Changes to this statement
We may update this statement from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
