Our commitment
We build websites for organisations that serve the public, and we hold our own site to the same standard.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This is the level New Zealand government websites work to.
What we've done
- Built the site with clear headings, readable text and colour contrast that meets AA.
- Made sure everything works with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus ring on links and buttons.
- Added text descriptions to meaningful images and illustrations.
- Respected the reduced motion setting on your device, so scroll animations switch off if you ask them to.
- Tested the site with automated checks, keyboard-only use and the VoiceOver and NVDA screen readers before launch.
