Email GeorgeWe're hiring a Junior–Mid Developer in Auckland to help us build this business from the ground up. It's not a cog-in-the-machine role. You'll take real autonomy over your day-to-day, see every part of how an agency works, and learn a huge amount along the way. Drupal is our core stack, and we'll expect you to learn it and build with it.
Day to day, you'll:
- Work directly with clients — gathering requirements, presenting work, fielding questions
- Write, review and ship code across Drupal, Next.js and integrations
- Make the design and technical calls on what you build, not just follow a brief
- Own features end to end, from brief to build to launch
- Pitch in on scoping, estimates and the occasional new-business pitch
- Help shape how we work — tooling, process and the way the team runs
What we need from you:
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
- Fluent in English
- Office-first and based in Auckland — this is an in-person role
- Junior to mid-level coding experience you can show us
- Keen to learn Drupal and work across the stack
- Self-driven and comfortable taking ownership
What you get:
- A front-row seat as an agency is built from the ground up — the kind of experience an established shop simply cannot give you
- Real client work from the start, across government agencies, enterprise and growing businesses
- A modern, genuinely exciting stack — Drupal has come a long way in the last few years (Drupal 11, the new Drupal CMS, first-class AI tooling), and you build with it at its best
- Real responsibility and mentorship in equal measure — you learn the craft by doing, working directly alongside someone who has delivered for enterprise and government
- Room to grow fast in whatever direction you take ownership of
Our dream is to build the biggest agency in New Zealand, and a genuine force for good. We're right at the start of that—if you want in on the ground floor, we'd love to hear from you.
We don't care about degrees or credentials. If you've got a genuine willingness to learn — or you've already been playing around in this space — you're exactly who we want to hear from.
How to apply:
Send a cover letter and your CV to [email protected]. Tell us a bit about yourself and why this role, and link us to your work — GitHub, a portfolio, anything that shows what you can build.
